2004-2009

Pfizer Inc. - Pharmaceutical Sales Representative - Queens, NY

  • Exceeded sales quotas in a million dollar plus New York Metropolitan territory comprised of hundreds of diverse medical
    professionals and managed a collective budget of $250,000 dollars.

  • Accelerated sales growth in a dormant territory (ranked 234/250) to the 3rd highest producing sales territory in the division’s
    East Coast Region in just over 12 months. 

  • Played key role in region’s launch for new product, Lyrica; selected by manager to lead district’s pilot programs for new product
    launch which resulted in explosive sales growth in territory from 70.67% of quota increased to 108.39% in 8 months.

  • Led my district in program engagement by consistently having the highest number of doctors commit and attend district wide
    speaker programs and often far exceeded expectations in the number of attendees at the events.

  • Spearheaded customized business plans and marketing strategies to promote a multi-product portfolio to hundreds of
    physicians within a 7-zip code territory; initiated monthly planning meetings to analyze sales metrics, identify target customers,
    and maximize sales impact.

FamilyRemixed - Co-Founder

  • Founded a non-profit organization focused on equpping parents, family and care-takers in adoption and interracial families.

  • Planned & executed FamilyRemixed launch event as a follow-up from my internationally-viewed TEDx talk on implicit bias.

  • Successfully secured corporate sponsorships and donations for the launch event which was attended by 100+ people.

  • Featured speaker for TEDx virtual event, highest virtual attendance of that summer series (2020)

FamilyRemixed - Writer

  • Developed research-backed training, programming, and resources as guides for these families.

  • Requested to write a featured article on white allyship for Motherly, online digital publication, published in 2020.

  • Featured on PBS’ Talk Show Courageous Conversations as the first guest to receive an extended 1 hour interview. (2021)

  • Facilitated seminars, including a workshop for continuing education credit for a group of social workers & adoption professionals at the National Council for Adoption’s national conference (2023)

  • My workshop “Equipping Transracial Adoption Parents to Cultivate Positive Racial Identity” received high praise & led to

2018-2021

Lehigh University, Graduate Assistant

  • Simultaneously managed diverse graduate-level projects & assisted professors in the Anthropology & Sociology Department with class lectures, curriculum preparation, and grading for large classes of 80-100 students.

  • Executed an email campaign to Lehigh Alumni to secure funding for student-led research lab focused on the socialization of race in
    families. The email campaign generated donations that surpassed our goal by 500%.

  • Guest lecturer for Prof. Bruce Whitehouse speaking on topics of race, racism, and biracial identity.

  • Provided individualized coaching, planning and project development with various students over multiple courses.

2012

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society - Lehigh Valley, Women of the Year Fundraiser

  • Top 3 fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year fundraising campaign that resulted in $150,000+ collectively in the span of 3-4 months.

  • Independently designed and executed a short-term fundraising campaign that included developing and leveraging professional relationships of influence within the community.

  • Resulting in a featured interview on local on Channel 69 News educating viewers on the LLS mission & fundraising campaign.

  • Created a partnership with a pastor of a large faith-based community organization to increase mission awareness and solicit donors for philanthropic support among a previously untouched minority population.

  • Strategically secured corporate sponsorships and gift-in-kind donations from local business owners.

  • Created a customized donor solicitation mailing campaign and conducted call blocks to my own personal database for on-the- spot donations.
